What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is based on the study of the mechanics of human body movement.
Over time this has developed into the study of the body's internal communication systems and this knowledge is used to encourage the body to restore itself to full functioning.
Kinesiology has been described as the most holistic therapy as unlike many medical specialities kinesiology treats the whole person: mental, physical and chemical.
Kinesiology uses the information from the body's own communication systems to find a root cause of an issue.
By using gentle muscle testing I gain information about how you are feeling and how your body is working.
Kinesiology uses biochemistry together and traditional muscle testing techniques to try to identify the root causes of conditions and aims to remedy them through diet and nutrition. It identifies where any blockages or biochemical imbalances lie and what is needed to fix them.
Some of the issues i check for are:
Food Intolerance Testing
Digestive Enzyme Testing
Hormones
Fertility Issues
Toxicity testing: Viruses, Bacteria, Fungus, Parasites, Toxic Metals
The Pathways tested include:
ATP (Energy Pathway
)Liver Detoxification Pathway
Methylation Pathways
Steroid Hormones Pathway
Thyroid Pathway
Upon finding a weakness within the body, I then use treatments that correct imbalances in the body. The result: you are restored to health and well-being.
Let's consider a simple analogy:
When you take your car into the garage for a service it is plugged into a diagnostic machine that receives information from all the vehicles circuitry systems governing fuel, air intake, coolant, brake suspension etc.
The Mechanic matches the information against the car's optimum level of operation. The Mechanic may make a few small adjustments knowing that any adjustments made to one of the car systems, could affect others and that all must function in harmony.
It is exactly the same with the human body; the Kinesiologist is the master mechanic.
Kinesiology's system of diagnosis and treatment is based on sound principles of good feedback directly from the body.
This indicates what is required to correct not only the symptom but more importantly the underlying cause.
When a person experiences any aspect of poor health it is due to an imbalance in at least one of these elements:
Physical: structure, bone, muscles, tendons, ligaments, posture, tone,
Chemical: air, water, diet, food, nutrition, chemical environment: pollution, Chemicals, drugs
Mental: Thinking, reasoning, feeling, emotions, attitude, beliefs, values
Energetic: Chakras, Meridians, Aura.
A Kinesiology session brings health, balance and vitality back.
It is my goal to find these imbalances and treat accordingly.
For example, a client is suffering from long-term intestinal irritation will have a nutritional imbalance due to poor absorption of food. Long term use of antibiotics could also contribute to this problem. In addition, lower back pain may occur due to a dual nerve supply to the lower back.
The client is likely to be mentally stressed as a result of the problem so has to put up with physical pain and mental emotional difficulties together with a poorly performing chemical system.
With a range of muscle tests and very simple non-invasive techniques, I can find and treat these imbalances to promote optimum Health in the individual.
Kinesiology will find the nutritional needs of an individual, promote good blood supply, good lymphatic supply and drainage and energise all meridians running through the body as well as realigning posture and improving mental function.
Kinesiology helps the individual tune into overall good health and well-being.
